Construction Laborer - Commercial Fence Installer

American Fence Company is looking for hardworking, reliable, and self-motivated Commercial Fence Installers to join our team of industry professionals. Construction experience and CDL preferred, but on-the-job fence installation and CDL training programs are available.

This full-time position is based out of Rochester but currently requires travel 60-70% of the time to complete installation projects throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. The travel schedule varies and can include 10+ hour days, Monday-Friday. No weekends! Per diems and hotels provided on travel days.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• $24-32 per hour starting wage

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks on construction sites in all weather conditions
• Use hand and power tools proficiently
• Assist in fence installation and repair with attention to detail
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed correctly and on-time
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid license and clean driving record required; CDL preferred
• Previous construction experience preferred; may consider work history demonstrating related or transferrable skills
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift 80-100 pounds and work a full shift in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and professional in interactions and communication with others
